I loved staying at this little gem of a boutique hotel near Greenpoint in Brooklyn. Not the typical chain hotel, the Henry Norman Hotel serves some of the film production companies in the area, which is about a mile walk to the subway. We had a suite with a small kitchen and living area, and the wood floors, high ceilings and exposed pipes made it feel like a loft apartment. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there are lots of options a short walk away. We enjoyed “The Brooklyn Standard” for smoothies, fresh pressed juices, sandwiches and healthy organic salads, “The Greenpoint Fish & Lobster Company” for rice bowls, fish tacos and fresh seafood. There is a laundry room available to guests, as well as comfortable sitting areas. Definitely look into staying here if you want something a little different and with great service.
